China Climate Investment Empowers Basemof Sparking on the International Stage

On May 13th, the 3rd China International Symposium on Climate Investment and Financing was grandly opened in Beijing. Co-organized by China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group Corporation (CECEPG) and the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences (CSES), the conference focuses on the theme of “Carbon Road to the Peak - Green and New - Climate Investment and Financing for a Green and Low-Carbon Future",and brings together leaders and representatives of governmental agencies, financial and investment sectors, scientific research institutions, environmental protection and climate change organizations to discuss the strategies and ways of climate investment and financing to provide new ideas and solutions for promoting comprehensive green transformation of the economy and society and realizing high-quality development.

 

In the high-end dialogue session, Mr. Zhou Aiguo, Director of the Strategic Advisory Committee of OGCI China Climate Investments, conducted an in-depth exchange on the topic of "Climate Investment for Green, Low-Carbon and High-Quality Development" and shared experiences of effective international cooperation.

    OGCI China Climate Investments Initiated "Methane Investment Day" Event at COP28
    On the morning of December 3, Dubai local time, during the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), the OGCI China Climate Investments, drawing on the platform of the Global Climate Action and Technology Innovation Forum, successfully held a "Methane Investment Day" event in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.The event invited relevant ministries and commissions of our country, the Oil and Gas Climate Initiative (OGCI), the internationally renowned oil companies, the Climate Investment Fund CI), investment institutions, research institutions and other nearly 100 leaders, experts and scholars attended the conference, focusing on the domestic and foreign methane emission reduction policies, technologies and industry status, in-depth discussion of methane emission reduction investment opportunities and challenges, to provide a reference for promoting China's methane emission reduction.
